On the back of the motor casting number 3955272
another number right up from it , 00NV2
Also above the NV number is P6
On the right side of the motor in the middle of the block is stamped 1208
On the deck plate drivers side is stamped 10K105531
Also, around the oil filter housing it's stamped HIperf pass 1 K

Does anybody know what these numbers signify ?

the first number is a 69 396/402 casting number
the long one is a partal vin number which states a 70 car ( see if it matches your vin)
a date code usualy starts with a letter then three numbers i think ( somebody correct me if im wrong)
but i dont see anything like that there
and im not to sure about the rest
