Does anyone have the production numbers of el camino's produced in the Baltimore Maryland plant in 1972 ? I purchased mine in Sept of 72. The 73's were already out, and I had to get it DX'ed from WVA to buy it. I think it was possibly one of the last ones produced.. Thanks for any help you can provide..

Sorry, I don't have a break down by production plant. But, as you may already know, the total production of El Caminos for the 72 model year was 57,147. See: https://www.chevelles.com/elcamino/ec_total.htm

You could try messaging GM Heritage Center and ask them -- and if you're REAL LUCKY they might do it without charging the $50 research fee.

Hi Skip, welcome from Idaho. Glad you've joined us. That's so cool to have purchased it new and still have it. Enjoy your 72 and the forum.
