I have a 75 el Camino that doesn't blow air, (or just very little air) out of the vents or defrost vent. The floor vent for heat does work, but not very good. And sometimes it feels like the heat is always on. This is an ac car, and the ac does work minus the air coming through the vents. Also, the highest speed for the blower motor doesn't work. Have any of you guys run into this problem before? What did you have to fix?

for the in-dash ducts and doors
start at the vacuum ball, see if you have vacuum to and thru the ball,,
and then to the control panel.. check for leaks..
check the plastic lines,
they get brittle and break and suck in plastic pieces..
when you get inside try a smoke test..
blow cigarette smoke thru the lines.. very easy to find leaks..

for the blower,, start with the Hi-Blower Relay..
that's where the power for hi-speed comes from..
75 may have a extra fuse to the relay power ?? maybe ??

Heat always on: from the factory these cars are set so the fan blows at low speed all the time for ventilation. If one of your heater doors is stuck open, it will blow heat all the time. Also, since your low speed is working but high speed is not, it’s the high speed circuit that needs inspected (the high speed has its own circuit). The high speed relay is a common weak point.
2x checking vacuum lines for holes & clogs. Also, the climate controls use vacuum to signal the various doors, and that control center frequently goes out in older cars, so if all your vacuum system is good, I’d look at the control.
