Hi so i am getting a 1974 350 for my 1984 El Camino it had a Chevy 229 that i took out and i am wandering if anyone knows where i can get motor mounts for my car or if i need to.
thanks!
If you can't find them in the wrecking yard remember that some of the four door cars like the Bonneville and others also came with 305's and you can pull them from those too.
You can buy motor mounts at your local autoparts store, just order them for a v8 el camino instead of a v6. Correct me if im wrong but they're the same thing, just in a different location for a v6. Just be on the safe side and get them for a v8.
I was taking a look at them and was wandering if you could just switch them it looks like it would put the motor in the right spot. if anybody has done this that would be a great help thanks!
