Ok...... So i get the 350 i have is 300hp. But, whats up with the Turbo Fire? What does it mean???

It's just the brand name for the small blocks.

Turbo-Thrust is for the big blocks, gmc called there copy of chevs 454 the Invader

Just a GM marketing name. As I recall ( don't bet on me being correct ) the small block engines were Turbo-Jet and the big blocks were Turbo-Fire. :texas:

Rick, I think you have it bass ackwards. SBC was Turbo Fire, BBC was Turbo Jet

You got that backwards the small blocks were called Turbo Fire the Big blocks were called Turbo Jet
