will a 2000 2wd s10 5 speed transmission fit a 1979 el camino? and will a s10 rear end fit a 1979 el camino? what year rear end would i need? ( i meen a direct swap a whole rear end housing and all)

the short answwer is no. they can be made to fit, but it wont be a bolt in.
