To be fully honest, that 59 has more skill into it than the original batmobile. Love the original batmobile, but when I first seen the concept futura that it started out as, the body isn't anywhere as modified as you'd first think. Saw one of the original batmobiles near me at Jacksonville Beach, fl supposedly bought for 1 mil at auction & was being regularly driven in public. Now that was cool.
Sectioning a steel body properly is alot of work, but usually looks worth the effort when done.
Many people over the years asked if my black el camino was the batmobile, particularly when I had the 59'chevy tailfin style bedcover. I always said, eh, batman is a pus*y.:p

It appears to me that the 59 would be MUCH more complex the most vehicles.
Where do you suppose the section was removed from? .
Sectioning a curved area has many problems to overcome.
