removing anodizing

You can remove the anodizing with easy off oven cleaner. Take the part off and spray. Let it sit for about 15 min. The anodizing will bubble up. Rinse with water and 0000 steel wool. Then polish with buffing wheel and jeweler rouge. Some recommend clearcoat afterwards but I prefer just metal polish. If you have any scratches you want to remove just sand with 600 then 1000 grit after removing anodizing but before the buffing wheel. This really works fast and almost makes it look like chrome.
