so i have a 1964 el camino in dire need of a rear-end fixing. Right now the car has the stock rear which is broken. Spider gears =broke, Main gear = Broke, carrier = Damaged. The car has the original but rebuild powerglide, powered by a GM Crate Motor 400+ HP.

My question is: IS it worth the money to have this rear end re-built or do i drop 2500 to 3000 for a New Strange 12bolt/or 9"?????

Really would like to get away with spending no more then 1500 but if i have to go the New route so be it...

Any info is Appreciated Thanks..........
