So my dad got his new Ford 9” put in the Camaro today. LS3/Tremec 6 speed. He’s questioning if the stock mono leaf springs will break at the track. I’m telling him not to worry about it. Thoughts? Should he run with traction bars?

I would think traction bars are a must. Otherwise I think he can expect considerable wheel hop.

That thing will hop like an Irish folk dancer on st. Paddy’s day. I had one in 1967 and it broke motet mounts like crazy.
