not just for the block, for hi-lights too.. white really pops in a dark engine compartment..

x2 Oerf, I'v seen some boats make me want to wipe my feet, like goin in the kitchen..

orange and black is old-scool Cool, but it gets old too..

I don't know about the block color. Yet I have heard that painting the heads aluminum can save weight and give 19 more HP.;)

I went with black on the block and hammered aluminum on the timing cover, accessory bracket and rocker covers for contrast. Left the heads bare aluminum. But I don't have a standard old school set-up either. Good luck!

I guess the benefit of a white engine is you'll definitely be able to see any oil leaks. I also went with black for the block, oil pan, and front engine assembly. Treated/sealed new aluminum heads with ECS Rust Prevention Magic.
