This is a good reminder for me to put a fire extinguisher in my 72, it will be on the road any day now.

Joel, look for a notice of our Region 19 get together at Exit 111 in 3 or 4 weeks; hope you will be able to make it.

This is why I keep my extinguisher in my car. I don't wanna be that guy who has to wait for help.

Using a CO2 extinguisher would be best, or the new substitute for Halon. The white powder Ansul stuff will put the fire out, but it gets into everything, will destroy an interior, gets into dash gauges, wiring....makes a hell of a mess.......

i've had a couple cars wind up like this. even junkers going up in smoke gives you a sick feeling in the pit of your stomach.

i carry a 10lb . abc with a hose .dont care about haveing to clean up the powder.would rather clean than replace
