Maybe its just me but, today I woke up early gulpped down some coffee put my Carhartts on and my steel toes, and left the ol' man sleeping so I could go to the shop and meet a guy to view my 70 Firebird i have for sale...I pulled out my spare seats and put back in my tail lights etc and my pillar post cover thingies..he came with his haggard wife and teen aged daughter..I know then I was doomed... no man is going to get a PROJECT firebird when his wife and daughter is present.:dontknow:..so not hoping for a sale I ran him through the speel. showed him my Merc lead sled and then had to explain the chop and swap on it..etc...dig in the mezanine for all the bird parts....

Meanwhile the BF shows up...says hi and gets to his project. the man was suprised I was left to deal with him,maybe he was hoping Chris would talk guy with him..sigh...they left...
got to work wire wheeling rust,sanding the garnish mouldings and then prepping inner fenders for a GMC 51 ish truck we are selling....POR 15'd it....vacummed out mice nest in truck made the windows purdy...yup just a day in this girls life.... tomorrow,removing the front fenders to put the inner fenders back in with the old man...and other various things...
It's lonley being a car girl....but wouldn't have it any other way.........

Keyser: that is pretty neat....the ol man likes to chop.....was going to chop the GMC truck but we need to flip it fast..

.he found a 59 Caddy!!! only 2,000!!! Never seen him soooo excited..its in Manitoba,so it will be a bit till he gets it to the shop.....thats his keeper car..been looking for years for one to come up cheep..this was a steel!!! and complete!!!
Me,I keep hoping someone will buy my friggen Firebird,as I need to make a pmt on my Camino....this is sheeeer torture!!!!
Im not even going to go on about the 60 plymouth Fury we had to fix...that metal is paper thin junk....thats another seller,and i get 1,000 from it for the Camino fund....just isnt happening fast enough! the snow comes to Alberta so fast.....

I got a buyer for the bird!!!!! the family was soooo cool....the wife is..get this: a professional CLOWN! 3 cool kids and they all wanted dad to buy it...all the family piled in the bird and pretended...Cynthia the mom/wife was the first gal in a long time I took too imediatly...must be cause shes a clown..lol..gave me a deposit..and they will be back. the 16 yr old will have a project with dad...the kid was so excited he pocketed the keys!!! must be the kool firebird key chain...sigh..told him he better not loose it...it my only set!!!
Now ill have a big chunk of change on the Camino! woooooo..and another excuse to visit her!!! so now I wait for the day the bird money comes in....
