Specialist suppliers over here also from the internet but a lot of Americans are not used to trading outside of the states so won't send stuff!! Never mind the cost of parts, the cost of fuel at the moment with exchange rates n all $9.36 per gallon!!!!! You think it's expensive over there!!

Wow...that's terrible...haven't been across the pond since '05, and it's about doubled since then. It would be cheaper to run your El Camino on Scotch. Not to mention it would taste better.

Hi!
It is just like here in germany. Driving a big block is pure luxury due to the price of that stuff. It seems to be kinda liquid gold or something like that :poke:.
I hate it...
I just ordered a lot of parts at the El Camino Store. There is nothing camparable around here in germany.
@Englishelky: just meet the european Camino-scene in the Netherlands. There is an annual meeting organized by Mikel (see other thread). I like it very much and I visit it every year since he started it. This year will be the 10th anniversary!!!

Hey Englishelky. Nice to see another over here in blighty. What part of the Uk are you in? I'm in Kingston, Surrey, about 12 miles sw of London. @fixitman, as far as parts go I/we probably buy from the same places as you but we obviously have to pay for shipping and import duties. I'm getting stuff all the time and am about to buy a poly front end kit from PST. Other than that I just wait 'till I pop over to Fla for the turkey run or NPD have a depot in Ocala, Fla. Rog.
