I am replacing my Peg-Leg 2:43 with a posi and 4:10 gears.
I know these are great for racing but my ride is mostly a streeter but with a Big Block...well my foot gets heavy.:secret:
Yalls thoughts pro & con.
Again thanks in advance.:You_Rock:

Even with an O.D. trans I think 4.10s are a little steep for the street.

If mainly a street cruiser go with 3.73

Take advantage of the BB torque and go with a little higher like Sean suggested. I Have had 3:42 and am now running 3:23 behind my BBB. Low gear is almost usless on the street now. Really wouldn't want any higher than the 3:42's for the street.

My 63 Chev 1 ton has 5:88's behind the vette 265 and 4 speed. Top speed is 65 mph but it gets there in 3 seconds.

Thanks for the replies guys BUT my question was about the C-clip eliminator kit I posted in the link.
Yall did check the link right?:dontknow:
So can anybody answer my question.
I checked with the NHRA and I can run the C-clips till I go below 10:99, well I'm a long way from an 11 second car.

You already know my opinion, all it takes is one broken axle to tear up a lot of stuff.
