Donations

My friends, it is time to put out an urgent plea for as many up-front donations as possible. If you are able to, please go ahead and send in your registration and a donation to help cover our expenses that are piling up very rapidly. Remember that we, the Belton Committee, have to pay for everything well before the event date. So please, if you have the means, open up that tin can in the corner that's been used for saving up for Belton since last year. Be as generous as you can, and help us pay the bills..................Ken, for the Belton Committee :texas:

Just to add to Ken's post, our biggest expenses are awards and food. Since we have to purchase those items well before the show, funds for purchasing those items are our greatest need right now. Since I know you guys like trophies and food, know that your donations are going to help make Belton a day to remember! We thank you for your support!

Besides, Donny gets mean if we can't feed him enough hot dogs to keep him quiet. :poke:

I have read through the forms etc., but still cannot quite figure out where in Belton, TX this will be? I have an 83 El Camino that will not make the trip, but I would love to come see others that were fixed up to get a few ideas. :texas::beer:

The drag strip fees (going from a foggy memory...DDD, please correct me if I'm wrong) last year were something like $10 per car for as many passes as you care to make. Donny will have to update us on what it is this year, if any different, as he is the one in charge of dealing with Little River Dragway.
Does the strip have any rules we need to know about, such as battery tie downs, gas filter restrictions (no glass), helmets required, etc?
