Belton XI , May 6, 2023 Participation poll

I'm planning to attend. Only my wife will change the plan. She really enjoyed the welcome last year, so I'm hoping to be there.
I hope you have greater turnout this year, with or without us. Maybe someone else will win the long distance trophy 🏆 this year

Bringing one of my cars to the meet up and track. Should be bringing someone with me.

It’s a bit worrisome

Unable to make it, same weekend as niece-in-law's doctorate graduation from Texas Tech... happy wife, happy life.

I hope it’s just that a lot of people don’t use the forum anymore because they use the Facebook page and haven’t seen the poll.

In the early 80's the Corvette Clubs would meet up at Orange County International Raceway for the Corvette Drags.
Part of that included dragging Corvettes by ropes the 1/4 mile.

It seems that one of the other clubs saw my 62 "Street" Vette with a rope, no bumpers, no grill, no radio, no A/C, pop top removed and a 120 lb. female driver. They were screaming for a Tech Inspection. I guess they were concerned about their fat 1969-1982 3rd Gen. My '62 met all of the requirements. The local club had a lot of 3rd Gens, so they withdrew my light weight '62.

So maybe an El Camino drag match race and you could still turn a good time.
