Over 20 years ago, I used POR-15 Engine Orange on my new crate motor. Was easy easy , clean & degrease. Brushed it on & the paint flowed into the casting nooks & crannies. Left the peaks bare. Called for a second coat. Looked excellent. 15 years later I pulled the motor. After cleaup it still looked as good as the day it was installed. No discoloration around the exhaust, no scratches or gouges. I'd use it again ! Have pictures somewhere, but not on this computer
