For coming back with old cars I must say the Challenger and the Mustang for looks and colors did a good job. For the quality or HP I don't know anything.

Here's my personal automotive timeline from the 70's and up:
This one saw it's share of "random acceleration trials" around the streets of Detroit:

After moving back to Pittsburgh, street racing wasn't much fun anymore, so it was time for a cruiser:

Then I discovered autocrossing:


Decided to jump in the new car market:

Muscle cars were dead. Let's try a luxo-ride:

Missed autocrossing. Back into something sporty:


Staying sporty, but going upscale:


Then came marriage, home ownership, kids etc., so it was time to go practical.
After a few pickups, the opportunity arose to go both cool and practical:

19 years later, retired from daily use, it's still in my garage and will likely be there for as long as as I'm still breathing.

My "blast from the past" would be pics so old that most are black & white & not in color !
Have to dig some up....
