I wrap cars. I am considering doing my ELK a Silver.
1st important thing is, I want it to last. Using matte vinyls do degrade very easy I have done tests and it will only last about a year and that is for a 9 year vinyl (avery 900 series)
what I will use is a gloss silver which looks like paint then put a 3D matte laminate over the top so it is like a clear coat.
I will get easy 6-8 years out of it.
Doing myself will cost in materials about 300 smackers if you get it done by someone else it will cost +2000K
When I start the process I will post pics along the way.
Installing the vinyl is hard, and finishing the job i.e trimming perfect is even harder.
It will take me about a weekend to do my 4th gen :beer:
