if i put a vortech procharger on a 350 carbed could i put a vortech blow off valve on it or as they say bypass valve? how hard would it be?

does it give more power? dont really understand how to install it or what it does...do i need a intercooler?

A blow off valve just releases pressure that builds up when you let off the pedal or in manual when you shift and your rpms drop. It doesn't give you any power it save your engine from blowing chunks

I didn't notice at first in your post, but Vortech and Procharger are 2 different companies.
The Vortech should generate more boost/HP than the Procharger, at least it did 4 years ago for the same application. Both units should have the ports available for adding the bypass valve, hoses, etc.
As Spencersr states, the valve won't give you more HP, but will prevent excessive boost pressure in the SC. I'd install it as a safeguard, especially if you're going to increase boost pressure over the stock unit.

well where can i find a intercooler for a el camino?
