I am gonna build a whole new dash/console for my elkie from scratch, so I don't have to worry about clearance (rewiring it too). I took the factory heat/ac out, sealed off the big hole that left, and will install the heat/ac system out of an '03 Grand Prix. It all fits up under the dash, nothing shows on the engine side of the firewall except the hose connections, and a GP is a lot bigger inside than my elkie, so should do the job with power to spare.
