as you know, the older model cars come with the glass type fuses. i'd much prefer the blade style fuse block. any of you ever convert your fuse block before? how much work is involved? and what are things i should look out for in doing this type of conversion? any tips and feedback is appreciated.

I bought an "update" harness from M&H. Aside from the fuse block using blade fuses, it's still a factory replacement unit. Should be totally plug and play.

If you're getting a new harness, I'd recommend switching over. American Autowire has an updated style harness too.

I regret not springing the extra bucks for the blade style fuse block when I redid my 71's harness. Those glass fuses are a pain in the A, especially that shorty Instrument Panel one, and checking them usually means just replacing them since they break half the time I try to pull them out to inspect them.
