I'm in search for some Cragar "Hook" wheels. I've found a few websites with the "Tease" and "Edge" performance models, however I haven't been able to locate an online or local dealer who sells this particular model. Anyone know of a website that has them? Also, does anyone know if these are good wheels. I know Cragar is a good brand, but I've yet to see these particular wheels on a vehicle. :?

Called Cragar already. They said try Discount Tire. I'm in Baton Rouge, LA. The closest one is in Beaumont, TX. I tried the Discount Tire Direct online site...nope. I'll have to try a few more local places and see if they can special order them. I'd realy like to see them in person or on someone's vehicle. Any pics out there?

When I had to order the wheels for my 80 I went to Discount Tires. They carried Billet Specialties wheels. Billet wheels are almost exclusively order to fit wheels. I had only seen a picture of them on Billet's Web site. I know what I wanted the look to be and they did it for me so it was just a matter of finding all the information I could on the wheels and the truck and the tires etc.... then just ordering them.

I have pretty much been able to look at something I am doing and put it together in my head as to the final look so, for me, it was not all that scary of a deal. I tell my wife I have a pornographic :D memory! I know before hand, yes I am a strange person I guess, just what each project I start will end up looking like. If I can't see it in my minds eye then I just don't start. For the Cars and trucks sometimes I will start without having say interior in focus or something small like that but it comes to me and I go buy the pieces and then do it.

Someone had a Web page,
The El Camino Store that shows a 5th gen with different choices for wheels. They also don't have Cragar wheels but if you can find something that looks close to them you'll be able to possibly have an idea.

It has got to suck not having someone closer to deal with.

Yeh, it does suck not having local distributers. I'm the same way with seeing it in my head, however I was looking at another Cragar wheel (Edge) and I saw it on chevy truck. It didn't have quite the same look as I'd hoped. Trust me, I've planned out this El Camino customization in my head for a while now...everything down to interior/exterior paint colors, engine mods, and ,most importantly, expenses. I see the "big picture" and I'm ready to get started! I'm getting her towed over to my house this weekend. I've been waiting just to get to this point for a while now. I plan on getting it running first (with engine dressup kit too). Then, I'll do the interior mods and work my way out. I'll prob wait until the last step to buy my wheels, but I'd like to have them picked out before hand.

This just in...

"We have ended our licensing agreement with the company that made the
Cragar Performance wheels. Unfortunately there are not any of their
wheels left for sale. We have just added a company to make new wheels
for us so check back with the web site for details."

This was a reply I received from Cragar. Sux doesn't it?!?
