I could not find any valve covers that I wanted to buy so I decided to paint my old ones. I printed the letters out from the computer and used it as a template for the tape. I probably have about 12 hours of work and $60 in supplies invested into them at this point but I'm pretty happy with how they have turned out.

The paint was done with duplicolor engine enamel spray bombs.
3 coats - Gloss Black (base coat/ primer)
3 coats - Metallic Gray
3 coats - Flat Black
3 coats - Clear Coat

The pictures start after the sanding and prep work, 3 coats of gloss back for a primer, and 3 coats of metallic gray.
