I need some help about the upper radiator hose.
This one was installed when I did get the car.
I would like to replace this old hose.
Did order a new one but looks like if it will not fit.
Does anyone know where I can get the old style one. Or should I just bend the new one so...
I inherited my '84 about 6 years ago when my father-in-law got too old to drive and the A/C has never worked. I jumped the pressure switch and got the compressor to spin up and the bearings sound like they're grinding rocks. I was thinking about replacing it with a rebuilt R4 from Four Seasons...
I just purchased a new R4 Compressor. However, my car was originally an A6 and this is what I have the hoses for. Both the original setup and the new setup are mounted on the driver side. Will my old hoses fit directly onto the R4? Or will they need to be adapted over somehow.
I just replaced my blower motor today and it’s blowing ok but it’s not putting out enough air to cool down my truck in this desert heat is there an upgrade to the fan or a better motor I can get for her. As of now I won’t be able to drive it during the daylight out here.
My 1987 SS has very good AC but the clutch cycles in and out every second or two when I'm driving and have system on normal or max AC. My theory is that the individual retrofitting the system to 134a did not change the kickout switch which was dialed in for R12. Is there a way I can test this...
