Hi
When I bought my 66: a I found a spring behind the sofa. Now during the winter when I've worked in the garage, I found another spring.
Are there any of you who know where to sit? Do they belong to the car?
Mechanism to the couch works, it can be slid back and forth.
Very grateful for help.

Yes it locks fine.
Can not move the sofa in the locked position.
It moves so slowly that we have to have two people to move it.

Its the spring for the seat track return should have one on each seat track,most of the time there is a plastic cover over the spring,that looks like Chinese finger cuffs,(look that up)no pict. any wayy there you go !:beer:
