Hey All,
I'm looking at replacing the engine and tranny in my 64. I don't have the space or time to do the job on my own and anybody I reach to here in Central Georgia doesn't return calls.

Any recommendations?

Thanks
Kirk

Found One

After I posted, I saw a previous post from High Tech on Cobb Pkwy. Just got off the phone. Definitely sound like they know what they're talking about.

Don't feel bad, I think finding a good outfit that you trust and that call you back is rare unfortunately.

Be interested to hear what you go with.... LS or what. Good luck

I'd stick with all Holley parts on this swap if you go with an LS engine - the 302-2 oil pan, forward bias engine mounts and headers. I did and have absolutely zero regrets.

Engine Choice

Putting a Blueprint 383 Stroker, 430 HP. A fresh TH400 to replace the old TH350, QA1 level 2 suspension kit, and 14-1 power steering box

and EFI

also going with the FITECH fuel injection. Have read lots of reviews on both sides of the argument for just about every brand out there and this guy says he's had the most luck with the FITECH 600HP kit.
