Temp gauge not working when I bought the truck. I pulled the lead from the switch/sensor, let it idle for a few minutes to build a little heat, then measured the resistance at the switch. It was 394 ohms, anybody know if this is in the ballpark for normal operating temp? I orderd a gauge from El Camino store, should be here in a few days.
Thanks,
Don

Thanks, the camaro thread you linked to, has a link to lectric limited's FAQ. That is an excellent read about the gauge and switch operation.
