as you can see - still on the truck ... but transmission is rebuilt! :nanawrench:

First one is on the flatbed in good company with a 64 Impala project, a about a 64 Galaxy or Fairlane, and Early 50's Chev

Pic 2 is the underside

Pic 3 is the worst spot on the body as far as rust ... there is light surface rust - but not this bad.

So  there it is!

It seems to be a good catch ... but issues are popping up.

One that I am a bit concerned about are with the motor mounts (its not the original motor) so they weren't connected and the transmission shop could barely (?) bolt the engine to one.
Luckily; the guy that works on my stuff isn't looking too worried (outwardly)

well - finally ... good news :nanawrench:

The ol' bucket is rollin'!

Still no A.C. but the rest of the mechanical is okay for now - got new brake hoses today!

Since I got it it's gotten:
  • rebuilt transmission
  • master cylinder
  • valve cover gaskets
  • 2 break hoses
  • and oil change

Still needs A.C lines and compressor
and paint :dontknow: ... and stuff

Not bad. The trans was the first thing I got built when I brought mine back in 09.
