Hey everybody. Its springtime and almost time for me to start working on my elky. I thought I would start by asking you guys the best place to get a floor for my car? The braces and floorboards are completely gone on this car, so i need all floor panels and braces.
I am a little confused on the braces though. From what I can find, I am under the impression that Elky and Chevelle braces are not the same. Is that true? Also, will 1968-72 braces fit my car or will just 68 and 69 braces fit? Ive gotten mixed opinions so i figure the gurus here would be able to solve my issue. Thanks guys. :nanawrench:

There are a lot of places to order floor pans and braces from including Ecklers el camino store , Opg (original parts group) ,year one ,goodmark . In Canada you can go to a autoparts/autobody supplier and get Cross canada parts which will save on shipping and if you shop around you will find prices cheaper then if you ordered directly from the company . The other option is to shop ebay , I have purchased year one parts cheaper on ebay then I could order from online ordering. As for braces all these places offer el camino braces and some offer part braces if you only need a half brace .
