Hi all,
I have a 5th generation Elky "topper" or "cap" as they are called for free in the Orlando area.
For my first Power Tour in 2006 I bought an 81 El Camino form a gentleman in Florida. I flew down with a buddy of mine and we drove to NJ where the tour ended that year. The car came with a topper in ewxcellent shape but I have never been a big fan of them, so I left it with a friend at a shop in Orlando figuring he would he would sell it for a hundred bucks or so. Fast forward to today - got a call from my friend that the topper is still there behind the building! Attached is an image of the topper - all the glass is still intact but it needs paint. It is free! The connecting hardware is missing so you will need to put it in a pickup to get it home or bring ratchet straps to hold it to your Elky.
PM me if you are interested
