How can I get fresh air in the cab after I installed the new AC unit? As all you know when you remove the old air and heat system you remove the vents too. MAYBE this has been discussed and done? And done somewhere else, if anyone has a link? I have thought about the small vents at the door jambs. I cannot see a way to get fresh air in.
Thanks for any help.

What year? Are you talking floor vents? There's a air door inside the cowl for the old AC system. It closes for MAX AC to recycle the cab air and get it cold faster. This also works well with heat, I use the MAX AC with the temp on hot all the time in my 2001 work truck...

Yes to both , mechanic and pitts, I have a vintage air system, and an 83, when I did the work I had to remove all the old original stuff. no more vents. and whet the factory guy said, roll down the window, turn on the ac to help. I think I will see about putting in a fan in th esmugglers area and tie in a vent to the"vents near the door jambs... Thanks , for your thoughts...
