I have a 350ho deluxe crate engine in the '84 I recently purchased. It has the glass type in line filter leading to the Holley 4160 600cfm 4 barrel. I have read through various threads recommending against the glass filters and the reasoning is sound. The only Holley inline filter with 3/8" hose barb on inlet and outlet I find on line is a 162-524 at Summit. Is this what I need?
Thanks,
Don

Holley recommends min. 3/8" hose barbs, do i need to be concerned with filter housing capacity, micron rating etc.?

Filter

As long as the id of the hose is the same size as that of the filter ends, 87s post is ideal. Micron size is determined for you.
