Well i have done some research and have found the way to repair the fuel level sending units. It is a pain to repair them but you sure can do it. I did it on mine and it worked great. I may repair for fellow members if need be. I am in the process of gathering enough material to rebuild some more. Let me know if that would be of interest...

I live in Tx so would it be cost effective what with shipping and all?
I can get a new one from Car Quest (China) for around $75.
If you just lived closer.

It will only be cost effective if you are trying to keep the original...I cant beat china pricing, lol...even at wholesale my parts cost more than china's...

It would be worth the extra cost to keep the money in the good ole' USA, get a quality product, and help out a fellow NECOA member at the same time :dontknow:. Just my 2 cents worth. I may need mine repaired, it is a 78 model, I will PM you when I pull it out.

Not worried so much about originality but I want something that works and "Made In The USA."
