Found a broken wire flush with the fusible link and will need to replace the unit on a 350 CI. NAPA was closed and Auto Zone, and the others have Dorman fusible link wire.
Questions:
Will a section of 16 ga fusible link wire work the same as the the factory fusible link?
If so, how long?

Thanks for the info. The pkg definitely says fusible link wire.

It'll be good to clean everything up because there have been some tape jobs over corroded wire near the solenoid.
