Ive had my dash out for a week whilst I redid the heater core. No wires on the cluster were touched. However, when I slip the gauges back in, and turn the key to on, the gas gauge will drop to 7-8 o'clock. If I spin the needle back up, it will stay, but move down the moment I turn the key on. What is even more weird, is it was at about 1 o'clock when I tore the dash out, so its almost reading the polar opposite. Anyone got ideas of why this is happening, and what to do to solve it?
