Speaking of gauges, all of mine (except the fuel) seem to read low. Temp, volts, oil pressure. Bad ground, do you think? If so, where?

The ground, on 5th Gen, is supplied through the connector on the back of the gauge pod. There's not much you can do w/o removing the pod.

Check the bolt just above the hood release in the front lower corner. Make sure the grond wires are there, clean and tight. Upside down of course. the dash grounds all come to there.
