Is there anyone out there who can breakdown what all the codes mean when looking at GM parts breakdowns. Trying to look at certain diagrams dealing with a 92 GMC sierra step side regular cab. It can become confusing which diagram to look at when they show maybe 15 of the same but have the different codes shown. Some become obvious but others not so much.

C1,2,309(03-43-53)
CK1,2,309
C310
C314
C318
C1(03-16-53)
C1,2(06)
CK1,2(06-16)
C109(06)
CK107(06)
CK310
CK1,2,3(03-43-53)
CK107,207(03-53)
CK109,209,309
CK105
CK105(16)

Those are just a few of the examples that I am referring to. I know the C means two wheel drive and the K means 4 wheel drive and the 03-43-53 I believe are the different body codes regular cab, crew cab and double cab respectively. The parts manual these numbers are shown in is listed below. I know it's probably easy to read when you know what the different numbers are referring to but have searched and came up empty as to what they all mean and or how to read them. I have listing of the RPO codes but nothing dealing with these. I am sure I do not have them all listed in the examples so if there is a listing somewhere that describes how to interrupt them that would be great that would cover all of them.

Don't know about later models but body codes used to be found in the service manuals.

I took a look at my 06 Silverado RPO codes in the glovebox. Found a CC1554 code listed after the VIN. Might be the body code since I have a crew cab. Again, may not help you any but its my educated guess.
