Recently did a complete engine tear down on my 84 SS. Ordered new lifters, cam, push rods and valve seals. Should I reuse all the head bolts or get new ones.

If you are doing a " stock" overhall I would clean up the originals with a wire wheel and re-use them.

You will probably be ok re-using them.

I have done it plenty of times on stock rebuilds but for peace of mind new isnt a bad idea.

Like James said clean them really good and also clean all the bolt holes with a thread chaser, not a tap.

Head bolts.

Clean them with carb cleaner or brake cleaner after wire wheeling them. Use engine oil or arp thread lube to reach the proper torque settings.
