Okay so as you probably all are aware, my 350 in Carlos is screwed up. I still have no idea of what the problem is, and time's becoming an issue as I have to have it up and running by May 26th.
Jim has decided to quit wasting time and money that we don't have on trying to figure out what the problem is, and just try to find another GOOD running CHEAP 350 and swap the engine out, oh and find someone to actually put the new motor in for us CHEAPLY.
I am willing to trade my clattering 350 AND all of the "upgrades" that were just put on it for someone to do an engine swap for us. We'll pay for a running 350 if it's priced reasonably. I don't know where to begin...is my 350 a 2bolt main? a 4 bolt main? how do I know what a good price is for a 350? how do I know what to look for to be sure it's in good shape? how do I tell if it even runs if a motor's sitting on the floor? I cannot afford to get ripped off AGAIN so I'm coming to you guys who I trust totally, to help steer me in the right direction with all of this. Thanks ahead of time, because I know I can count on you guys to chime in on my situation.
