Hello guys. I found this thing hanging under my dash when I removed the plastic plate that exposes the fuse box and wiring by the foot pedals. I can tell it does something because it the yellow arrow on it can slide back and forth across it, I’m pretty sure it’s not suppose to be just hanging though, does anyone know what it is

I also have had this light hanging out from under my dash for the longest time too. It’s not the courtesy light that shines when the doors are open, it comes on with the cluster guage lights when when I pull the headlight lever, my dash cluster looks like the fuel guage might be a little dimmer but I can’t tell if it’s suppose to go there or not.
