It's not a waste of money or time, other than you perhaps weren't prepared to do a full on tune-up to your Hot-Rod at this point in time; however, if you did all that, you must have needed it done. So don't kick yourself just yet; once you find 'it', you're going to have such a good running ride for a long time to come!
Yep, have you done the 'all over vaccum line test' or know how to do a quicky on that? How old is the Fuel Pump. It might be time for you to do an oohm test on your seperate spark plug wires, including your coil wire. Does the hesitation change from when the engine is cold or when it's been idling up warm? How about when it's under a load, such as with going up a hill or a couple friends inside or a stack of blocks in back? Has it only been with this tank of fuel? A certain RPM range is worse than others? Most importantly; what did the old plugs look like for each cylinder? Let's start with these and work out. Usually the culprit is a vaccum leak 93% of the time though.... Nitro Good luck!!!!
