hesitation when given gas

i just got a 79 elcamno 305/4 bbl. holly. it has a bad hesitation when i step on gas. so far they have replaced plugs /wires/dist. router. and full filter.and rebuilt the carb. and still does the same.any ideas what to do next thank you for any help i can get.just wasting money so far.
