Hello y’all! I recently replaced my turn signal assembly in my steering column. I started her up and now when I turn the wheel at all, my horn starts blowing. I’m relatively new to working on cars, so I figured I’d ask y’all what you think it is.

Sounds like you will need to take off the steering wheel and most likely part of the steering column to see if the horn ring may be broken.

Putting all of that back together is a little tricky.

Horn works by you completing the ground by pushing the button. If turning the wheel activates the horn, when you put the stuff back together after fixing the turn signals, the wire or the connector is coming into contact with ground somewhere. Could be the spring, the connector is bent, the wire worn through and hitting the shaft nut etc.

It's back in under the steering wheel, no option to fix it but to pull the wheel back off and see what's touching. The wire should be positioned where turning the wheel in either direction doesn't pull or stress it.
