I'm Going to attempt to replace the hot air choke thermostat, and would like some help, which way does the integral spring go because it has fell out and i dont know which way to put it back and can i get a pic of somebodys choke housing with the thermostat removed because i think i moved the linkage inside to much, So i need a pic of choke housing with thermostat removed and i need to know which way to install the new thermostat, Also how far should the screw be out on the pull off because i dont think my pull off even touches the linkage when started, but i know the pull off is good because i checked it.

Thanks Brandon,

First off go to your local auto parts store and buy a new thermostat because the spring should not fall off. the adjustment on the pull off should be adjusted with a vacuume pump to about 1/4" opening of the choke plate.
