The City of North Palm Beach has just announced that the popular show will again be held at 603 Anchorage Dr. in Anchorage Park . We usually have a nice group attend where groups of people and businesses compete for the best /most popular chili voted on by popular vote . The chili is excellent and a $ 5.00 wrist band gets you unimited ( though small ) tastes of everyone`s chili . Last year we had a welcomed and surprise visit from Elcaminogeno that traveled from Alabama and laid down some great chili . Those that attended last year will probably receive a prerigerstration forrm in the mail or you can Google the show .Fee is $ 15 preregister or $ 20 day of show .

Papa Bef ( on another forum ) , said he is hoping to make the Hot Cars and Chili Show . I haven`t heard from Elcamino Geno if he is coming again from Arkansas and entering the chili cookoff . His chili and energetic personality was a hit at last year`s show . Doing the chili cookoff was a whole lot of work and was much appreciated .

Chris , I am hoping to make the Hot Cars and Chili Show . After our travel trailer trip last week up to north Florida and a next day trip back up to Boca for the Cool Wheels Show , things are a little tight . My 59 is awaiting re-powering and I would again have to drive up to the mainland in my daily driver . The weather looks great and all those chili samples sure are good when it is cool . Other than it would be too much effort , Chuck`s chili would be a contender for the cookoff . Haven`t seen a post from Jim Thompson ( JimTom ) , but he attended last weeks Cool Wheel Show in Boca . Not talked with the others and we sure miss our Palm Beach group of friends .

Same here . I have tried to contact Whip a number of times . Any conversation you send , it comes back as undeliverable . I think there was some issue on the site but no one seems to know . Despite the situation , I wish he would rejoin our activities . We sure miss him and Sue .

I was able to get a reservation at a nearby motel for Fri. and Sat . Looking forward to seeing you guys since our show last week in Boca for the Cool Wheels Show and some of you that I have not seen in a while . As Chris said , the weather looks great . Will again have to drive my daily driver as the 59 is awaiting rehab . The Blueprint 350 cu. in. has finally arrived at the shop doing the work in Clearwater . It is a new 350 block with alum. heads , roller cam , Sniper throttle body injection with recommended fuel of 87 octane . Included is a full blacked out serpentine front drive system . The shop put it on the dyno and it came up to 341 h.p. The 700R4 overdrive trans should arrive soon . Yahooo Hey , who else is coming ?

Hoping to hear back from a number of conversations I sent out to some of our members . I miss when past Nat`l. Director was able to send out a mass email to all Florida members that allowed it , inviting them to our events . We always picked up a few new attending members . Now , we can only send a conversation to 5 members at a time . That gets old real fast when you think of all the members in just Florida . I`m still ragged at the site providers for refusing to do anything to help us contact/invite our members to our events . It has really hurt our attendance . Talking with them is worthless and their concern is to put $ from the site in the bank and ignore the very organization they should be trying to help . On a happier note , we hope to see more of you at the chili willy show this weekend .

I`m heading up to North Palm Beach in a little while and will see you Saturday at the Publix store or Anchorage Park where the show is held . Those meeting at the Publix Store on Northlake Blvd . There are two Publix Stores on Northlake . We are meeting at the Publix that is located on Northlake Blvd. and U.S. 1 . The store sits back far from the road .

While we were small in numbers , I think we had a good time and it was worth the trip to the show . New members Jim and Vicki traveled from the Orlando area and were such interesting people . They have done some really cool stuff , their careers and the vehicles they have owned over the years . We are looking forward to seeing their 69 Camino at Steve Sander`s ( 87next2last1 ) , Gainesville Get Together And 1/4 Mile Run . Check out the forum on it here in the Region 6 , Fl. forums . The Hot Cars And Chili Cookoff show seems to have had a resurgence in interest as the field filled up with rides . It is too much work and I told Chuck he could enter his most excellent chili in the contest . It was fun getting to talk with a number of people that live in the area that I have gotten to know over the years of going to this and other Palm Beach area shows . Always a special treat is being invited over to Neil`s garage to see his projects and catch up on what`s been going on with our buds . I often get that happy feeling that a little kid gets when he goes over to have a fun day at their grandparents home for the day . The show sometimes seemed to be a dog show as so many people were their with their beautiful and playful dogs and pups . They have also brought back a live band Mary , I told Joan about a list you might be able to send of places to visit in Ireland and she is excited about that . I do want to check ourt the Ancestry site as well as the Bahamian Goverment site to see anything about my family coming through the Bahamas , coming to the U.S. from Ireland . Some stayed there while my grandfather came on to Key West .
