The heater core just started leaking coolant into the interior of my 79. I don't drive in the winter, so I don't need the heat. What hoses do I cap off? The 2 goin into the firewall on the passenger side next to the ac? Thanks

Yes, take one and run it back to the motor where the other one comes from. Simple, free fix to get you through.

Also don't forget to buy a couple of the caps to cover the heater core openings.

you can also remove the hoses from the motor and cap them with 5/8 and 3/4 pipe plugs looks much better than a hose looped around.

Haha thanks fellas. I went ahead and just got the $3 adapter. She's no show car, so the loop is fine with me. Appreciate all the help.
