How to disconnect TV cable from Holley carb?

I need to remove my carb, but can't d/c the little black cable end from the carb. I tried prying it off, but afraid of breaking
it. I thot it was a ball stud holding it on, but no nut on the backside that I can see.

Use a pair of small needle nose pliers to pry the clip evenly off the shaft.
Turn it 90°, then push up a little. It is a ball socket, but the ball sits in a slot, the round entrance is behind it.
WOW, that is modern. Mine is all jesus clips and cotter pins.:p

What, no duct tape?
What worked for me was pulling the cable for slack, then rotating ccw til the cable was at 12 o'clock, then pulling down.
The anchor is a disc that sits in a slot in the black plastic piece.
Thanks all!

If you just push it toward the front of the car, it will slide right off. Just did mine two days ago.

It's like a nail head it slips on to just push it to the front of the engine may have to open the throttle a little to give it some slick
