I think I will start part 3 next season and run the Summit Series Bracket Racing.:popcornsmiley:

I bought a new set of Goodyear slicks, put in a new windshield re-painted the dash and inside the cab.

Thanks for watching I will be racing Thursday & Saturday night.

Will the light weight carpet help keep the tire smoke out of the cabin?
Did you decide against the forward facing hood scoop?

Hope it keeps the smoke out and keep it a little cooler inside. It's been too hot to really do anything so the scoop will wait till it cools down.

Dale is coming over for the weekend so If you want to come over Saturday I can BBQ some burgers before the track?

Maybe a rug and help, but not for long. It is necessary to solve the problem with the tires.: Hail2:

Other than easing off the fuel pedal, what are your thoughts on keeping the tires from spinning through the 100-1320 foot marks?

Noon is good. I ran a 6.630 @103.63 last night not bad.:cool2:

Was that at the HotRod & In-N-Out 70th Anniversary?

Isn't this the first time you ran the fairgrounds track?

Yes a guy gave me his pass that Friday night to run Saturday.

I just put in a 16v system and everything works better. I haven't had it at the track to see how it effects the spark but I can tell you the truck started on the first crank and idled from a cold start like it was already warmed up. Fans, pumps, everything works and sounds better.

I also installed a new trans.
